Tantei Monogatari - Episode 6

  

Shunsaku receives a new job request, this time from a young woman named Reiko who travels from Otsuki to Tokyo in search of Okamoto—her missing "boyfriend" who promised her that the two of them would travel to Europe together. However, Shunsaku's investigation leads him to the supposed suicide of a snack bar mama seemingly orchestrated by a group of gangsters, and Okamoto is somehow connected to all of this, to top it all off! Things get further complicated when said group holds Reiko hostage and demands that Shunsaku find Okamoto for them within a couple of hours or else they'll hurt Reiko.

Lightning Superhuman Gridman - Episodes 06 ~ 10

 

Today may not be Christmas, but I've decided to post this early anyways because why not. Episodes 06 through 10 of Lightning Superhuman Gridman are now up with English subs.

Couple of notes (a few of which are maybe semi-related to this batch):

• 35 episodes of this show have now been translated by Yume—none of the episodes past 10 have been checked, of course, but I can safely say that sooner or later the whole show will eventually be translated in its entirety. Now it's just a matter of how quickly I can edit them, though...
• Did I tell you JP transcripts exist for this? No? Well, guess what—I didn't know they existed either until a couple days ago!! Yume uncovered a JP blog containing transcripts for the entire show just as he had gotten to working on the show's final episodes LOL, at least just for the prominent characters. Can't promise that this will help speed up the project, but it'll definitely make it easier for editing—that much, I can say.
• Starting from Episode 06 and onwards, I'm utilizing a new font for the episode titles and for the names of the monsters whenever they appear on-screen. I tweaked Ep. 01 ~ 05 so that they'd have the same changes too, but I'm not intending on uploading v2's for those anytime soon—preferably, I'd like to save them for the final batch. 01 ~ 10 might need a v2 anyways depending on what those newly-found transcripts reveal, but nothing is set in stone yet.

Used to have a text file on me where I wrote these up in advance just so I don't have to rush myself doing it on release day but I seemed to have it deleted it by accident and I absolutely don't have the energy to go through these EPs again to write up new descriptions from scratch.

Professor Tachibana gets kidnapped by Randou's minions while en route to an important government meeting, and gets brutally slain in the end... nah I'm just kidding.
He does get kidnapped, but do you really think they'd kill him off so quickly? Especially right after Shinichi's death? Hell no!!
